In Yaoundé the Nachtigal Hydroelectric Dam construction site, is one of the largest Team Europe led infrastructure projects in Sub-Saharan Africa. This will supply 30% of Cameroon’s total electricity needs once operational. Also, in the city, the planned route for the Yaoundé Rapid Bus Transit Line and Ring Road will bring a great benefit for the city which currently suffers greatly from huge traffic congestion.
