Located in Lithuania, this electricity storage project will guarantee security and stability of energy supply in the region. Having received EUR 87.6 million of funding from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, it will enable Lithuania to disconnect from the Russian controlled electricity grid and synchronise with the continental European electricity grid.
