With the help of European funds from the NextGenerationEU instrument, the Slovenian Ministry of Health has provided the Maribor University Medical Centre with a new car to support the work of the mobile palliative team - specialized unit for providing comprehensive palliative care for patients and their relatives in the home environment.
The project plans to procure the necessary equipment and conduct training for a total of up to 14 palliative mobile teams for specialized palliative care at home.
The Recovery and Resilience Facility provides funding of EUR 2 million, with the total value of the investment estimated at EUR 2.4 million. The investment started in January 2022 and will be finalised by mid-2026.
