The ailing business of wool production in the Mediterranean sheep rearingareas of Sardinia, Tuscany and Corsica has been revitalised through the applicationof technology and modern marketing to this traditional and ruralindustry. MED-laine has the objective to enhance the plant species and indigenous wool for the production of textiles and handicrafts to the use of bio construction and tourism, cultural and educational promotion territories.
