I'm pleased that the Palestinian Prime Minister Musafar can be with us today, and I also want to thank I want to thank Norwegian Foreign Minister Ede and also who,
together with the Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan,

Mr President, we are honored to have acting Special Coordinator, Ramiz Alakbarov and acting UNRWAWA Commissioner General Christian Saunders here, and also a few words about the focus that we have,
which is to explore how we can deepen our collective work for the two-state solution based on international law.
The New York Declaration provides an important political framework to guide these efforts, and while such commitments have already become actions, we can and must do more to ensure respect for human rights and accountability,
to protect the Palestinian people and to put the two-state solution solidly on the table again,
and this is the only way that Both the Palestinians and Israelis can live in safety, dignity and peace.
We have condemned unilateral actions such as settlement expansion that undermine the two-state solution and urged the government of Israel to reverse these decisions.
Israel should also urgently release withheld clearance revenues to ensure the proper functioning of the Palestinian Authority.
Prime Minister Mustafa, the EU is the largest external assistance provider to the Palestinian Authority.
That alone speaks volumes about our commitment to assist you and encourage ongoing reforms.
So I invite you also to give your introductory remarks remarks after that,
we will proceed with our discussions in the closed session, please, over to you.
