The Counter-Unmanned Aircraft systems Living Lab or C-UAS Living Lab is a testing and evaluation facility dedicated to counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) technologies. It focuses on the detection, tracking, and identification of UAS using radar, radio frequency sensors, electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) cameras, and acoustic sensors. By integrating multiple sensor types, the lab ensures comprehensive monitoring and enhances situational awareness in various operational environments. Supporting EU Member States, the lab strengthens testing capabilities, promotes best practices, and ensures compliance with EU security regulations. It collaborates with law enforcement, industry, and policymakers to validate C-UAS solutions for protecting critical infrastructure and public spaces. The lab also provides a platform for assessing sensor performance, refining detection techniques, and improving the reliability of C-UAS operations across Europe.
