Mobidiag is a Finish molecular diagnostics company addressing the spread of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance. Mobidiag has developed a rapid and easy to use molecular diagnostic tests for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, responsible for the current coronavirus infection. In 2019 Mobidiag signed a loan with the European Investment Bank (EIB) supported by the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI). Previously it was also backed by the InnovFin Infectious Diseases Finance Facility a joint EIB-EC initiative.
