On 23 and 24 February 2026, Andrius Kubilius, European Commission for Defence and Space, went to Kyiv to mark the 4th anniversary of Ukraine invasion. He met visited damaged energy infrastructure and met with Ruslan Stefanchuk, Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada).
