Participation of Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, in the Brussels European Council
On 19 December 2024, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and the Heads of State or Government of the EU met in Brussels for an European Council hosted by António Costa, President of the European Council. On this occasion, EU leaders discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, the EU in the world, resilience and preparedness, migration and foreign policy issues.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, also attended the meeting.
