Meeting of the EEC-Spain Joint Committee
The EEC-Spain Joint Committee met in Brussels on 28 April 1981 to review issues that both sides were facing as regards the implementation of the Trade Agreement of 1970. The Community stressed among others the need to put an end to the tax discrimination occuring through imports in Spain. Delegation of the CEC was headed by Inger Nielsen, Deputy Director-General of DG I External Relations of the CEC, and the Spanish delegation was presided by Fernando Gomez-Aviles, Spanish Deputy Secretary General in charge of Relations with the EC.
