Signature of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA)

The 30th of October 2016, the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) was signed. EU and Canadian leaders met in Brussels for the 16th EU-Canada Summit in Brussels where they signed those two agreements. The ladders aimed to offer EU firms more and better business opportunities in Canada and support jobs in Europe.
