Ortoli Commission

The Ortoli Commission held office from 6 January 1973 to 05 January 1977. It had the complex task of managing the extended Community during a period of geopolitical instability with the Kippur war and the crisis in Cyprus, not to mention the economic downturn which followed the first oil crisis.
